Refund policy
I have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact me at jamesmakesthings@hotmail.com. If your return is accepted, I will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Your items remain your responsibility until they arrive back to me. JAMESMAKESYARN will not be responsible for any customs or import duties for returns and all costs involving the return are your responsibility. In the event of the returned product going missing in transit, you are to pursue your postage provider for compensation as the product is legally yours until a refund is issued.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or digital items such as patterns.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not accepted.
Refunds
I will notify you once I have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Please be aware that if you do just choose a standard shipping option at checkout, then your order will be sent without any tracking information and you will not receive a tracking number. I will not be able to track your order at all once it has been shipped.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IF YOU DO CHOOSE A SHIPPING OPTION WITHOUT A TRACKED AND/OR SIGNED FOR SERVICE, THEN I CAN NOT REFUND ANY LOST ORDERS. So should anything happen to your parcel I will be unable to replace or refund your order.
There is the option to upgrade to 'Tracked & Signed' for international orders and 'UK Signed' for domestic orders at the checkout and I would recommend paying the extra for this service as you will receive a tracking number and I will be able to see where your order is and whether it has arrived.
